Kammuri Maintains Strength as It Moves Toward PH
Tropical storm “Kammuri” has maintained strength as it moves westward on Thursday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 4 a.m. forecast that “Kammuri” is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility between Sunday (Dec. 1) and Monday (Dec.2) and will be locally named “Tisoy”.
Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga peninsula will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the trough of “Kammuri”.
Kammuri was last observed at 1,755 kilometers east of Visayas with maximum sustained winds of 85 kms. per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 105 kph. It is moving west at 25 kph.
Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rains caused by the northeast monsoon.
Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25- 32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 22-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-24 degrees Celsius; SBMA 24-32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 25-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 25-33 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
