SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 60 km West of Ambulong, Batangas (14.0° N, 120.5° E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Luzon and Visayas.

FORECAST: Western Visayas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to Southwest Monsoon. Rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to South will prevail over Western Visayas, Palawan & Occidental Mindoro with moderate to rough seas while light to moderate winds from the Southwest will prevail over rest of Visayas with light to moderate seas.
