SYNOPSIS: Southwest Monsoon affecting the Western section of the country. Meanwhile, at 3:00 am today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 715 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (10.4N, 132.0E).
FORECAST: Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with monsoon rains due to Southwest Monsoon. The rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Strong to gale force winds blowing from Southwest will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro with rough to very rough seas. Moderate to occasionally strong winds from the Southwest to West will prevail over Visayas with moderate to occasionally rough seas.
