Julie’s Bakeshop Extends “Tabang Eskwela” at Alambijud Elementary School
True to its advocacy of helping communities, Julie’s Bakeshop held its “Tabang Eskwela” at Alambijud Elementary School in Barangay Alambijud, Argao, Cebu last February 1, 2015.
Headed by Mr. Joseph Gandionco, CEO and President at Julie’s Franchise Corporation (JFC), the company’s execs and staffs went to Alambijud Elementary School for the painting activity of its donated classroom. At the same time, they also conducted a feeding activity for the pupils of the said school.
Last September 26, 2014, Julie’s donated a cash for the construction of the said classroom through a signing of Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Agriculture, local government unit of the Municipality of Argao and Barangay Alambijud, DepEd, Alambijud Elementary School – PTA, SVD, and Pasedev Inc. Its business partners, Selecta and Davis Philippines, also pledged their support for the said CSR project, which reached a total of more than P600,000.
Since 2011, Julie’s Bakeshop has been actively helping Barangay Alambijud for the improvement of its capabilities towards a better way of living; part of which was the installment of its 300 feet deep well, which is now the main source of the community’s daily water supply.
