Job Fair Promotes Happy Job Hunting
Mynimo.com, the official jobs website of the Cebu Business Month (CBM) 2014 has announced that it will hold the Happy Jobs Fair to highlight the happy jobs available in Cebu and abroad.
The career event has already recorded 5,280 urgent job vacancies from over 50 local and overseas employers with vacancies catering to all job levels and various professions.
The organizers are still expecting more companies to join as the event approaches. It will be held at the SM City Cebu Trade Hall on May 31, Saturday, from 10am to 6pm.
The Happy Jobs Fair is co- presented by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) in line with the CBM 2014.
“We are very excited that the Happy Jobs Fair is now part of the CBM’s calendar of activities,” said Wesley Chiongbian, Mynimo.com’s Founder & CEO.
“Our partnership with CCCI will help make the Happy Jobs Fair the biggest privately organized job fair in Cebu this year.
“The Happy Jobs Fair will be unique as it will apply Mynimo.com’s website functionality in a physical setting.”
Job seekers can expect an easier time in finding the right jobs with its categorized job board.Employers will also benefit by being able to screen applicants faster with Mynimo.com’s color- coding scheme. “We are always looking for ways to innovate in everything we do. To our knowledge, these approaches have never been implemented at job fairs before so we’re very excited to see how it turns out.” said Chiongbian.
“Job fairs can be stressful for both job seekers and employers, so we came up with these methods to make it a more pleasant and happy experience,” Chiongbian added.
The event highlights what Mynimo.com believes to be the most important aspect when looking for jobs.
“Everyone’s goal is to be happy with their job but different people have different needs,” said Chiongbian.
“Happiness can be the office location, work schedule, salary, perks, etc. While for some, happiness can simply be landing a job with a stable company.”
The Happy Jobs Fair will help applicants find jobs based on their definition of‘Happy’ in one accessible air- conditioned venue.”
Close to 4,000 job applicants have already registered for the event online. And more applicants are still expected to register in the coming days.Job seekers are encouraged to register online before the event to minimize their wait in line.
