iStick: The First iOS Flash Drive
The drawback of having an iOS devices is that there’s no memory expansion, unlike other devices which allows users to add memory to their devices via microSD. However, if you were hankering for a way to add extra memory to your iPhone or iPad, perhaps the iStick might be a device worth checking out.
Created by Hyper, iSticker is the world’s first USB flash drive designed for iOS devices. The device will feature a Lightning connector that will connect to your iPhone or iPad, and a USB connector on the other end that will hook up to your computer.
The device will allow users to store media files, such as photos, videos, and etc. and will come in a variety of different sizes, ranging from 8GB up to 64GB. The iStick will also support a range of media formats in order to allow iOS users to stream music and videos to their devices.
Unfortunately, the iStick is currently a Kickstarter project, meaning that you might be in for a wait if you were thinking about ordering it. The project has since surpassed its goal of $100,000, but if you’d like to learn more or place an order, hit up its Kickstarter page for the details.
