Isolated Rain Over East PHL, LPA Enters PAR – PAGASA
PAGASA said Tuesday the whole country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the eastern part of the country.
The state weather agency added that winds will be moderate to strong from the east to northeast over northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
In some parts of the country, winds will be light to moderate from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
Low Pressure Area
PAGASA added that a low-pressure area (LPA) entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) early Tuesday. It said, in its Tuesday forecast, that the LPA was at 880 km east of Mindanao, but has slight chances of becoming a typhoon.
The LPA is expected to exit the PAR on Sunday, PAGASA said.
