iPadOS 16 May Bring the Pro Features iPad Users Hope For
With Apple set to introduce a new version of iPadOS in the following months, the rumor mill for possible features of the next iteration of iPad software is now in full swing again.
Here is what we know so far.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iPadOS 16, codenamed “Sydney,” will bring in some “nice updates.”
Rumors going around say that the new iteration of iPadOS will feature a new lock screen design. Moreover, the rumored redesign of the icon set, based on MacOS Big Sur that was supposed to be released to the iPhone and the iPad, did not come to fruition.
However, this year may see changes that will be the most since the complete redesigning of the iPadOS, formerly a part of iOS, since iOS 7, when Apple scrapped the skeuomorphic design principle that Steve Jobs loved so much, to the flat, colorful design that everyone recognizes today.
Moreover, rumors say that the new iteration of iPadOS will feature a new multitasking interface, which is one of the features power users of the platform calls for.
Reports also say that Apple will be revamping the notifications system of iPadOS, which they have been tinkering with for a couple of years already. (GFB)
