Inayawan Landfill Caught Fire 30 Houses Burned
30 houses burned when a residential area of the Inayawan Landfill cn White Road, Brgy. Inayawan, Cebu CIty caught fire on February 17, 2019.

Cebu City Fire Department received an alarm around 6:47 pm that a fire sparked in the said area. The alarm was raised to second alarm at around 7:13 pm. After almost 3 hours or 10:00 pm it was declared under control. It was then declared fire out 7 hours later.
The fire that spread in the landfill made it hard for the responders to control the fire.
About P200,000 was the estimated damage of the fire.
Fire investigators are still determining the cause as of the moment. (ASC)
