Husband Shoots Wife

A 23-year-old woman was accidentally shot by her own husband inside their home last night in Mingnilla town, Cebu.

According to police, Anna Labrador sustained a gunshot wound in her left chest after her husband William shot her following a heated argument. She was rushed to the nearby Minglanilla District Hospital but died eventually. Based on the initial investigation, William reportedly got angry at his wife for going to a birthday party in another barangay. When she came home, they had a fight and William “accidentally” pulled off the trigger of his gun, said the police.

As of this writing, the police are still on a follow-up investigation over the incident.
