Hundreds Flock to Comelec for Registration
Hundreds of residents in Talisay City flocked early morning Monday at the office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) as the registration for the synchronized barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections kicked off.
The Talisay City Information Officer Vince Monterde said the long queue started at 6 am, two hours before the Comelec office opens. The residents, mostly voters for the SK election, made a long line at the City Hall parking lot area.
The Comelec has set the registration from July 22 to 31 for the barangay and SK elections on October 28 this year.
