Warm, Humid Monday Due To Easterlies
Warm and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday due to the presence of two weather systems affecting the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its advisory, PAGASA said the country is affected by the Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) extending over northern Luzon while easterlies are affecting the eastern section of central and southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
For Monday’s forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over northern Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (PNA) JMC/CLTC
