Huawei’s Nova Academy is Back in Cebu

Huawei reaches out to more #NovaStars to spearhead the second season of Nova Academy. The main goal is to reinforce the Huawei nova culture of being different while having fun by tapping on the passions points of millennials. The year-round workshops will teach attendees how to make the most of the smartphone by honing their skillsets with nova ambassadors at the helm of each session.

Beauty vlogger and content creator Raiza Contawi led the relaunch of this year’s Nova Academy in collaboration with Influencity, the biggest local gathering of content creators in Cebu. Attendees got to see how Raiza creates a polished, good-looking shot using her smartphone.

Succeeding workshops include how to ace perfect flatlays with Discovery MNL, night photography with blogger and traveler Johan Aguilar, and vlogging 101 by creator Bella Racelis. Award-winning dance crew A Team will also hold their own Nova Academy dance workshop.

Huawei’s Nova lineup of devices – the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i – proved to be a hit among teens and young adults, thanks to its potent combination of powerful specs, quad cameras, huge internal storage and affordable price. As such, Huawei deemed it worthy to help its vast user base maximize the potential of their Nova devices.
