Huawei Launches Its New Flagship Device — The Huawei P9

Huawei Philippines recently celebrated the arrival of the much-anticipated brainchild of the partnership between Huawei and Leica—the Huawei P9. This much talked about smartphone is Huawei’s new flagship device that will capitalize on the capabilities and expertise of Leica which is the leader in the world of imaging. The P9 will be equipped with a dual 12 MP, Leica optics, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED flash.

During the launch at The Henry Hotel, Cebuano audience was given an interactive photography workshop with master lens men Billy Mondonedo and Dr. Benjo Campomanes. Photography techniques were introduced to the participants; they went around the hotel and took photos indoor and outdoor using the P9’s camera and its unique low-light performance and it perfectly captured incredible photos with clarity and with colors that popped-out.

The P9 also packs a lot of power with a 1.8GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor and comes with a 3GB of RAM, with a 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0. It is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery and it only weighs 144.00 grams.
