How to Get the Perfect Winged Liner
It’s frustrating when you can’t make the perfectly winged eye, right? Lot’s of makeup experts and gurus love this old-school trick: The secret to the perfect and steady bottom edged line is scotch just tape! This helps you pinpoint exactly where you’ll make the angle of your eyeliner.
You’ll need: scotch tape, liquid or simply your eyeliner pencil.
Step 1: Line your upper lashline with your liquid/pencil liner.
Step 2: Place the tape on the back of your hand to make it less sticky and less painful to peel off after the process.
Step 3: Angle the tape by lining it up from the outside corner of your eye towards the end of your brow.
Step 4: With the tape in place, draw the wing from either the bottom up or from the top down. Whatever works best for you!
Step 5: Gently peel off the tape and see the perfectly smooth bottom edge.
Did you know? You can also use this trick when creating the perfect winged shadow! Just use the tips above, then apply your eyeshadow. Peel off the tape to reveal the precise angled shadow!
