High Pressure Area (HPA), Easterlies To Bring Warm, Humid Weather On Wednesday
Except for isolated thunderstorms, a warm and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country on Wednesday because of two weather systems affecting the country, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its advisory, PAGASA said the warm, humid weather is due to the presence of Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) affecting northern and central Luzon and the easterlies or warm winds from the east prevailing over the eastern section of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The presence of HPA will bring good weather conditions to the country in the coming days.
Despite a warmer weather, the occurrence of isolated rains will still prevail due to localized thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
For Wednesday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the east over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.(PNA) JMC/CLTC
