Hard rock (or heavy rock) is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music which began in the mid-1960s, with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. It is typified by a heavy use of aggressive vocals, distorted electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, and often accompanied with pianos and keyboards.

With the passage of time, the hard rock genre has slowly lost its grip with the masses but with Hard Rock Specials, Cebu’s hard rock bands remind the City of the power of rock!
