‘Habagat’ to Bring Rains to Metro Manila
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring moderate to heavy rains to Metro Manila on Wednesday.
According to PAGASA’s weather bulletin, isolated thunderstorms will also prevail in the area.
Central Luzon, CALABARZON and the Mindoro provinces will also have moderate to heavy rains, along with isolated thunderstorms.
PAGASA further pointed out Visayas, Ilocos, Bicol, remaining parts of MIMAROPA, Zamboanga, Nothern Mindanao and CARAGA will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
Other areas, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA added the coastal waters of Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to rough due to moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest.
Other areas will have slight to moderate seas brought by light to moderate winds coming from the south. (PNA) BNB/JLD
