Gujilde Hails 2013 Election Successful
Cebu Provincial Election Officer, Atty. Ferdinand Gujilde calls the May 2013 midterm election as successful and peaceful.
“We did not face any problem in terms of peace and order” Gujilde said.
Gujilde also added that it is normal to have an overcrowded precinct specially when each clustered precinct has more than 200 voters.
The only trouble is the delay in the casting of the votes due to the defective Compact Flash (CF) cards, that also causes delay of the proceeding.
Further, Atty. Gujilde said that it is normal to have long cues specially when the polling area is over crowded.
For the 2016 election, Gujilde highly recommends that there should only be one PCOS machine for every voting precinct with 200 voters to avoid overcrowding in the polling area.
