Google Glass Gets New Frames, Prescription Lenses
Google has announced a new line of frame styles that can both fit the Google Glass hardware and accomodate corrective lenses – called the Titanium Collection with four new extra-light titanium frames.
The new frame styles are named Split, Thin, Bold and Curve. All four frames are made of titanium. They can work with either transparent or shaded lenses(additional $150 for the tinted shades, which also comes in three varieties: Edge, Classic and Active)
The new styles will be available to Explorers (users who’ve participated in the Google Glass beta program) for $225.
If you’re a Glass Explorer, you can head over to the Glass store now. If not, Google is still letting people sign up for the Explorer program through their site, but the device itself still costs $1,500.
Google claims more styles will be coming.
