Good Weather Seen On Tuesday
Most parts of the country will experience good weather on Tuesday due to the presence of easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the easterlies are “warm” winds from the east.
He said the northeast monsoon has weakened due to El Niño phenomenon but expected to be back on Thursday.
Tuesday’s temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 22-30 degrees Celsius.
He said the agency has not seen any weather disturbance near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) that may develop into tropical cyclone within the next three days.
He said the agency expects zero to one tropical cyclone to affect the country this month.
For Tuesday’s forecast, PAGASA said whole country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over Eastern Visayas and Caraga.
It added light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over northern Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
