Globe Unveils New Tower in Cebu

Inspired by their Tower in Manila, Globe Telecom has officially unveiled new home – The Globe Tower (TGT) Cebu nestled at Samar Loop corner Panay Road, Cebu Business Park.

The PEZA-registered building was formerly known as Abacus Financial Center, Globe-Isla Plaza and Innove Plaza and Innove IT Plaza.

The 16-storey TGT is composed of 5 basement parking levels. It occupies the ground floor to 2nd floor and 6th floor to 18th floor, while other floors have third-party tenants of difference enterprises.

TGT has redesigned interior for selected floors to provide the best workplace environment for over 250 Cebu-based employees. Also, it serves as an embodiment of its established presence in Cebu.

Each floor is themed with breakout areas such as Art Café theme at the 9th floor, Restaurant theme at the 10th floor, Mountain view theme at the 11th floor, Photo Gallery theme at the 12th floor, study/library room theme at the 14th floor, hotel lounge theme at the 15th floor, Filipino fiesta theme at the 16th floor, and Olympics/sports theme at the 17th floor.

It has also entailed the Open Office Environment, centralized conference center at the 2nd floor, a cashless dining hall supported by Globe GCASH, and an Employee Center with IT and wellness services.

TGT Cebu also features the grand lobby floor, finished with reconstituted stone tile with stainless steel hairline finish skirting and 4” square LED recessed light and strip lighting fixtures.

The building is provided with passenger elevators for Low rise (GF-7F), Mid rise (GF-12F) and High rise (GF- 18F). The 2nd floor is called The Loft, it houses 6 rooms with varying seating capacities, including meeting rooms and break areas from small to bigger divisions. it is open for guests and employees.

For the renovation and enhancement, Globe engaged Architect Jojo Tolentino of Aidea Philippines for redesigning the interior of the ground floor lobby, 2nd floor Mezzanine, and 6th floor to 18th floor.

Prominent Architect Edward G. Sy of Aromin and Sy Associates is the original architect of the building.

TGT Manila, is Globe’s first tower, which is located at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
