Globe Supports SMEs through #GiftLocal
As the Christmas season is fast approaching, telecommunications giant Globe launches #GiftLocal to support Small and Micro Enterprises (SMEs) especially in these trying times during the pandemic.
“We have always rallied the Filipino consumers to patronize local establishments and help Filipino SMEs, especially during the holiday season,” said Maridol Ylanan, Globe myBusiness Strategy and Marketing Head.
#GiftLocal strongly supports “Ingat Angat Tayong Lahat,” the government’s advocacy that aims to equip consumer the confidence and safety and reminding various SMEs to prioritize safety in their operations.
This is not the first time Globe launched a program to support SMEs and starting entrepreneurs.
#GiftLocal under Globe myBusiness, a 3-day E-Bazaar with e-commerce Company Lazada, promotes the purchase of local products during the Christmas season. Globe’s SMEs partners such as Punta Riveiera Resort, Robi and Peach RWT Clothing, Old World Food Enterprise and Bayongciaga will be given the chance to stream their live selling through Globe myBusiness and Laz Live Facebook page.
“This year’s Gift Local campaign will serve an even greater purpose, as we feature the products of our SME partners,” Ylanan added.
Meanwhile, Ayala Malls and SM Premier Malls will also take part in the activity, giving more promos to featured SME partners.
Educational, health and hygiene kits will also be provided by Ayala Foundation for its “Brigada Ayala” Project which targets connectivity support for teachers and students in the new normal of education. (MLC)
