Global Shapers Community Cebu Hub

The Global Shapers Community is a worldwide network of local hubs composed of outstanding young people committed to improving the state of the world. As the shapers of the World Economic Forum (WEF ), they hope to change communities through improving camaraderie and the use of technology.

With its motto ‘Shape Your Future’, the Global Shapers Community wants the youth to be the voice for the future in the local, regional, and global stage. Although Global Shapers Organization is based in Geneva, Switzerland, it is present in each major city/ region in the world. Despite the diversity of its members, each has its own commitment to change the world.

Last May 15, 2014, the Global Shapers Community Cebu Hub, together with their founding curator Jay Aldeguer, presented to the press in Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu the eight young personalities who are chosen for their leadership potential and entrepreneurial spirit with the interest of the general public in mind.

The Global Shapers Community Cebu Hub is the first hub in the Philippines outside of Manila.
