Glitterati 4: Designer Denim, A Fashion Show

Glitterati is an annual fashion show featuring young local personalities. The fashion show was held at SM Northwing Cebu Thursday (July 31) evening.

This year’s fashion show centered on Denim- originally design by Cebu’s rising fashion designers – they are Mike Yapching, Bree Esplanada, and Exur Lopena.

From sporty to grungy to minimalist collections, this fresh display of innovation and design was worn by Cebu’s young personalities aged 14 to 20 years old. They are Adrian Au, Joachim Go, Josie Gullas, Jennifer Kim, Zarah Majam, Iani Miranda, Alex Osmeña, Julia Kristiana Pastrano, Liana Annabella Pastrano, Alyssa Sacal, Xandro Selma, Maria Sofia Snare, Takeshi Suzuki, Christian Ugarte, and Ysa Unchuan.

The fashion show also featured SM Cebu Best love brands worn by some Cebu’s top models.

Mike Yapching designed sporty inspired denim fashion, Bree Esplanada works on a grungy rock and edgy designs, while Exur Lopena integrated leather to his denim collections. The three designers said they had l so much fun and very happy and thankful with the opportunity to have showcased their denim collections.

Going beyond styling, , Glitterati took on a new and exciting direction, while maintaining its youthful spirit by bringing in Cebu’s rising fashion designers. This was first but exciting endeavor for Glitterati to feature original creations.
