Gi Bike Folding Electric Bicycle

A folding electric bicycle is a convenient way of getting around town, especially when you were late for work because of a traffic jam, or when you were just too tired to keep on pedaling to get home. That is why a team from Manhattan created the Gi Bike, a Kickstarter project aiming to transform and revolutionize the commute of millions of people around the world.

With the Gi Bike, it more or less has everything that you would need in a folding bicycle, all crammed into a compact and lightweight frame. For those steep uphill slopes, you need not have to pedal as long as there is enough of a battery charge left within.

The Gi Bike sports a lithium-ion battery which on average, will be able to ferry its rider for up to 64 kilometers sans a hint of pedaling, thanks to the inclusion of electrical assist that has a maximum top speed of 25kph.

A smartphone app will also come in handy as it enables you to control the speed. It will also feature an anti-theft lock that locks automatically once you walk 10 feet away from your bike. Two types of Gi-Bike models are available: one with electric assistance and the other without electric assitance, but still with all of its signature features.
