Generally Fair Weather, Except for Light Rains in Northern, Central Luzon — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday said northeast monsoon continues to be the dominant weather system affecting the country that will bring light rains over Luzon.
In its weather bulletin, PAGASA said that northeast monsoon is now affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
For Wednesday forecast, the northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan” will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country including Metro Manila.
It added moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to east with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
