Gas, Diesel Prices to Increase Tuesday

Gasoline and diesel prices will increase on Tuesday, oil firms announced on Monday.

In separate text messages, oil companies said gasoline prices would increase by PHP0.40 per liter while diesel prices would increase by PHP0.30 per liter.

Shell, Caltex, Petron, PTT Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum, Eastern Petroleum and SEAOIL will implement the price adjustments effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Unioil will hike prices at 6:01 a.m. while Flying V will implement the adjustment at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

The oil firms said there would be no change in kerosene prices.

The adjustments reflect movements in the international petroleum market. (PNA)
