Gal Gadot Turns Down Offer to Concentrate on “Wonder Woman”
Getting the role of Wonder Woman in DC’s upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, and getting her own solo “Wonder Woman” movie in 2017, Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot reportedly turned down other offers in order to concentrate on the role.
The sexy actress was reportedly offered a role in “Ben Hur” as Esther, the love interest of the movie’s titular character has decided to pass on it, report said.
It added that the first solo “Wonder Woman” movie is set in the 1920s and Wonder Woman, a.k.a Princess Diana of Themyscira, will be looking at the olden days through her own ‘unique perspective’. It was reported that there are already sequels planned and “Wonder Woman 2” is set during the World War II.
Reports said that it is only in “Wonder Woman 3” that she will be joining the Justice League.
Since the solo movie will only come out after “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, it means Wonder Woman will be appearing first in a modern setting, and then in the ’20s, and then back to the present time in 2017’s “Justice League”.
But regardless of all the ‘time travelling’ Wonder Woman is bound to do, fans are still anticipating her appearances in the DC movies.
Report said Gal Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, which starred Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
The film is set for release in March 2016.
