Fuel Prices Rise this Week
Fuel prices in the country are set to rise again after a week of rollback as leading oil firms announce adjusted prices taking effect today.
Oil firms Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell in separate advisories said that their gasoline prices will increase by PHP0.40 per liter, while their diesel prices are set to increase by PHP0.60 per liter.
Moreover, kerosene prices for oil firms Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also increase by PHP0.70 per liter.
Other oil firms in the country are expected to adjust their respective oil prices.
The announced fuel price increase in the country today is the first price increase–this after three straight weeks of continuous fuel price rollbacks.
Year-to-date price adjustment for gasoline is currently a at PHP12.45 per liter increase. Adjustments for diesel prices stand at PHP9.35 per liter, while kerosene prices also increased at PHP9.35 per liter. (GFB)
