Free Admission to Museums, Galleries this October

(PIA) – In celebration of Museums and Galleries Month this October, everyone is invited to come and visit the National Museum in Manila and regional museums and galleries for free.

Free workshops on mat and basket weaving will be also held.

According to the National Museum, the free admission is in line with the celebration of its 114th anniversary on October 29, 2015.

October of every year is Museums and Galleries Month by virtue of Proclamation No. 798 signed by President Corazon Aquino in 1991.
