Franchise Group: Start Your Business Via Franchise
The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) calls on Negrenses anew to start a business by buying a franchise.
Francorp Philippines Senior Consultant Dana Cuneta said buying a franchise lowers the risk of doing business because the franchisor or business owner has already gone through the business process and is, therefore, already an established total concept.
“Therefore, buying a franchise lessens management problems that normally goes with training of personnel, choosing the right location, product research and development, and marketing and advertising, among others,” she said.
Cuneta said franchising generates economic opportunities through job generation, businesses for Filipinos while answering the need for more skilled managers and personnel.
There is also a chance to earn dollars when one opens a branch abroad, she said, adding that franchise owners are their own bosses where no previous experience is necessary in most cases.
“The system of operation is already proven plus you get to have a business identity and collective buying power,” she said.
She advised those interested going into a franchise to start checking franchise events for comparison shopping.
They may also visit or get in touch with credible franchise associations, see franchise shows or read business magazines.
The PFA was founded in 1995 and is the pioneer franchise association in the country.
It introduced franchising to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises that saw the growth of average of franchise per year from a previous of 1 to 65 franchises annually. (JBG/Lljr-PIA6)
