Flavored Shabu Seized in Dagupan for the First Time
Dagupan City (PNA)–Police are now investigating the emergence of flavored-shabu seized from a commercial photographer whom they arrested along Careenan Street in Dagupan City at about 8:45 p.m. of May 18.
The suspect, Barry Sacayacay, 33, a native of Lower Bicutan, Taguig and residing at Rizal Street in Dagupan, was arrested by agents of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (PAIDSOTG), Pangasinan police provincial office and personnel of the Mangaldan Police Station in coordination with the Dagupan City Police Station and PDEA Regional Office 1.
Confiscated and recovered from his possession, control and custody were 10 pieces of transparent heat-sealed plastic sachets containing green crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, said to be pandan-flavored.
This was the first time that the police seized what they called flavored shabu from suspected drug dealer.
Also seized from Sacaycay were five pieces of one hundred peso bill which was used by a police poseur-buyer as buy-bust money and several drug paraphernalia.
