First Ever Maritime Talent Show Hits Cebu

Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. (PTC), in cooperation with Pacific Mall Mandaue, presented “GMP’s Got Talent,” a show featuring PTC’s very own Global Maritime Professionals (GMP) and their families, held last Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the 3rd Floor Activity Center of Pacific Mall Mandaue in Cebu. The show was hosted by Ms. Giselle Sanchez and open to the public.

The event is part of PTC’s year-long 35th anniversary celebration and seeks to honor the company’s outstanding GMPs by showcasing not only their unique abilities in the performing arts, but also the hard work and tremendous sacrifice they undertake to give their families a better life.

PTC GMPs from both cargo and passenger vessels along with their families performed musical and dance numbers in the talent extravaganza. Special guests representing Aboitiz Jebsen Crew Management and maritime students from the University of Cebu have also performed. A special segment of the show showcased GMPs with their families walking the runway in a unique make-over cum fashion show featuring apparel provided by Metro Department Store.
