Fire Razes 4 Houses in Banawa
A fire set 4 houses ablaze in Eskina Banawa, R. Duterte Street, Cebu City on August 25, 2018.
The fire alarm was received at 9:12 a.m. The alarm was raised to upto 3rd alarm.
The fire was declared fire under control at 9:26 a.m.
According to Nagiel Bañacia, head of the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (CCDRRMC), the fire was said to have originated from the rented house of Archie Vertucio.
4 families and 16 individuals were affected based on the partial listing of Brgy. Guadalupe officials.
The fire caused heavy traffic in V. Rama Avenue area prompting the police and city traffic officers to manage the traffic situation.
The estimated cost of damage was pegged to be P150,000. (ASC)
