Fashion Meets Fairways: Malbon Set to Launch in the Philippines

Published

on

Malbon, the trailblazing lifestyle brand that fuses fashion with the essence of golf, is set to open its largest store worldwide right here in the Philippines. The board-up that was just installed hints at an impressive size—over half a city block long—right in the heart of BGC at the Shangri-La, facing 5th Avenue.

Founded by the dynamic duo Stephen and Erica Malbon in 2017 in Los Angeles, the brand quickly became a standout in the world of fashion. Their mission is to revitalize golf culture by making it accessible and appealing to a wider, younger audience. This is achieved through a streetwear approach that creatively pays homage to the robust heritage of golf. They release biweekly collection drops and boast a diverse portfolio of collaborations, ranging from Footjoy to Coca-Cola, Jimmy Choo, and Wu-Tang Clan. And with Erica being Filipina, we might just see some Philippine-inspired designs in the future.

Malbon isn’t just about apparel. They also have the Buckets Club, a community for golfers, athletes, artists, and creatives. Members enjoy exclusive benefits like early access to product drops, invitations to special store events, and participation in golf events around the country. These events cater to complete beginners, seasoned golfers, and everyone in between.

The board-up also features the Cloud logo, which belongs to TKG Lifestyle, a local group dedicated to redefining retail in the Philippines. TKG Lifestyle is also behind notable brands like Gentle Monster, % Arabica, and the fitness facility Pretty Huge, suggesting that the Malbon flagship store will be a unique retail experience in itself.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months. Make sure to follow their soon-to-launch social media handles: Facebook: Malbon PH, Instagram and TikTok: @malbon.ph.
