Fair Weather Seen On Tuesday
Most parts of the country will experience fair weather on Tuesday.
The tail-end of a cold front and northeast monsoon continue to be the dominant weather systems affecting the country though they will bring rains to some parts of Luzon, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA weather forecaster Glaiza Escullar said the tail-end of a cold front now affects the eastern section of Southern Luzon while northeast monsoon prevails in Northern and Central Luzon.
She said they monitored no weather disturbance that may affect the country within the next two to three days.
For Tuesday forecast, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Bicol Region and the province of Quezon while cloudy skies with light rains is expected over the regions of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos, Cordillera and Central Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The state-run weather bureau issued a gale warning due to strong to gale force winds associated with the northeast monsoon as the sea condition would be rough to very rough in the northern seaboards of Northern Luzon and eastern seaboard of Central and Southern Luzon.
“Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are alerted against rough to very rough seas,” it warned.
It added moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
