Fair Weather Seen In Most Parts Of PHL Friday
Except for extreme northern Luzon, most parts of the country will continue to have fair weather on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA said two weather systems continue to affect the country with the northeast monsoon prevailing over extreme Northern Luzon while easterlies affect the eastern section of the country.
For Friday forecast, due to the presence of northeast monsoon cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the island of Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country mostly over Eastern Visayas and Caraga.
It added moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over the eastern section of Northern Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon and of Visayas.
The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
The state weather bureau did not issue gale warning as fisherfolk are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
