Fair Weather Continues On Monday
Fair weather is expected on Monday except for light rains in extreme Norther Luzon as two weather systems continue to affect the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA said the northeast monsoon prevails over extreme Northern Luzon while easterlies or the warm winds from the east now affect the eastern section of the country.
For Monday forecast, cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the islands of Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country mostly in the eastern section.
It added moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as fisherfolk are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
