Though it’s unfortunate for a girl to not have 20/20 vision, it’s an excuse to look geeky chic with glasses! Make sure you purchase a frame that suits your face shape and lifestyle. Remember what looks good on your bestfriend won’t necessarily look good on you. Here are quick tips to look extra gorgeous with your usual eye frames.

If you are near-sighted: Since your eyes will look bigger, you need to “shrink” your eyes.  Apply a black or dark-colored liner on your waterline. This is also  another excuse to don a simple yet sexy smokey eye!

If you are far-sighted: Your eyes will look smaller so you need to make them look bigger. Use a white or flesh-colored eyeliner. Curling your lashes and using black mascara will also help “open” your eyes. In the evening you can place a highlight or an ivory shade on the inner corners of your eyes and on the center of your lids- it helps reflect light and gives the illusion of bigger eyes.

Another tip:  Apply more coverage on the areas where your glasses’ frame touches your skin. Keep a powder or cream foundation compact with you for quick touch-ups.
