EY GDS Expands Consulting and Cybersecurity in Cebu Through Campus Initiatives

EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS) Philippines is strengthening its presence in Cebu by expanding its Tech Consulting and Cybersecurity capabilities through campus initiatives. This strategic move aims to bridge the gap between academe and industry, equipping young Cebuano professionals with future-ready skills to thrive in the digital economy.

At an exclusive media roundtable at Seda Ayala Center Cebu, EY GDS leaders discussed their commitment to talent development and the organization’s role in positioning the Philippines as a global tech talent hub.

Raymond Go, Consulting Leader at EY GDS Philippines, highlighted the organization’s efforts to grow its consulting team, addressing the increasing demand for advanced digital skills. “Our campus initiatives provide fresh graduates with the expertise and opportunities they need to excel in technology consulting,” said Go.

Meanwhile, Maez De Guzman, Cybersecurity Leader at EY GDS Philippines, underscored the importance of developing cybersecurity professionals, noting the industry’s global talent gap. She also emphasized her advocacy for Women in Tech, stressing the need for inclusive talent development.

The expansion of EY GDS’ capabilities in Cebu reflects the city’s growing importance in the digital economy. “We see Cebu as a key talent hub that will contribute significantly to our global operations,” Go added.
