Expect Warm, Humid Tuesday Due To High Pressure Area (HPA)

Published

on

The ridge of high pressure area (HPA) continues to bring warm and humid weather in most parts of the country on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The ridge of HPA extending over Northern Luzon, which is the opposite of the low pressure area (LPA), is associated with light winds, less rainclouds, and drier air.

For Tuesday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail over the country and the coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.

The state weather bureau also did not issue a gale warning as fisherfolk are safe to venture into seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
