Expect Rains on Friday
It is going to be a rainy Friday as the tail-end of a cold front and an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) continue to affect most parts of the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its advisory, the state weather bureau said the tail-end of a cold front is affecting northern Luzon while the ITCZ is affecting southern Mindanao.
For Friday forecast, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Northern and Central Luzon and Mindanao while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to southeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as the fisherfolk is safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JMC/CLTC
