Except for isolated rainshowers in extreme Northern Luzon, most parts of the country will continue to experience fair weather on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

PAGASA said the northeast monsoon has returned and is now affecting extreme Northern Luzon while easterlies or warm air from the east now prevail over the eastern section of the country.

For Tuesday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

It added light to moderate winds blowing from the east to northeast will prevail throughout the archipelago with slight to moderate seas.

The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as the fisherfolk are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
