Ex-Councilor’s Son Nabbed for Kidnapping, Rape

Son of former Talisay City Councilor Emil Go was arrested by police Tuesday for alleged kidnapping charges.
Frederic Benedict Go was nabbed by police Tuesday in an eatery in Barangay Basak-San Nicolas, Cebu City for alleged masterminding in the abduction of a college student in the City of Naga. Police S/Insp. Ma. Theresa Macatangay of the Regional Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force 7 said the 16-year-old victim positively identified Go through a tattoo on his back as the one who raped her last week. Go and others allegedly abducted the victim in Barangay West Poblacion, City of Naga Wednesday last week.

Go, meanwhile, is also in the authorities’ watchlist for alleged involvement in the illegal drug business.
