Elon Musk Joins Twitter’s Board His First Mission Add an “Edit Button”
Elon Musk lands on the trending stage again and sparks memes as he becomes Twitter’s biggest shareholder and joins the company’s board.
Musk has announced that he purchased 73.5 million shares or 9.2% of Twitter’s common stock pushing the company’s value to 27% on Wall Street.
Elon Musk promised to make changes to the platform, and one of them is the “Edit Button”.
Twitter users have long requested the edit button on the platform for the use of editing typos on their tweets and not deleting them and posting it again.
However, according to Twitter, the edit button can be used to manipulate the contents of the tweet.
Musk has tweeted a poll regarding the addition of the edit button on the site last April 5, 2022.

The poll manages to gain over 4 million votes with 73.6% voting for “yse” or yes and 26.4% for “on” or no.
Twitter Already Working on Edit Before Elon Musk’s Poll
Twitter clarified that they are already working on an edit button since 2021.
Twitter acknowledged the demand for the said button and is working on it even before Musk posted the poll.
