Edukasyon.ph Launches in Visayas
Leading education technology in the Philippines, Edukasyon expanded its service by launching its operations in the Visayas.
Their Visayas Regional Office is located at the AppleOne Properties in Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.
The expansion of its operations to the Visayas enables Edukasyon to actively engage with local students, as well as its growing network of more than 500 educational partners and 50 corporate and foundation partners.
In 2015, the will to empower the youth made Edukasyon possible.
Edukasyon’s platform allows students to directly inquire and apply to schools of their choice, seek for better and higher education locally and abroad.
“So karon naa natay centralized platform, para nako ang sa Cebu ang mga tao nga ganahan mu try di na mahadlok musuway kay naa na tanang opportunities diha (Our system is a centralized platform, a lot of people especially Cebuanos will no longer be afraid to try since all opportunities are provided),” said Raphael Francis Quisumbing, Vice President for Engineering, Edukasyon.ph.
“It’s relatively easier gyud compared sa traditional kay since digital ang atong medium so atong information dali ra (It’s relatively easier compared to the traditional system since we are now using digital medium to spread information as fast as possible),” Quisumbing added.
Around ten million students access the platform each year.
Last year, approximately 750,000 students originated from the Visayas with increasing volume this year.
More than 10 schools in the Visayas region have joined Edukasyon’s partner community to date, including Silliman University, University of San Jose-Recoletos, University of San Agustin, Southwestern University PHINMA, Cebu Doctor’s University, Indiana Aerospace University, and several technical-vocational institutions.
“Cebu and the broader Visayas region are home to some of the country’s leading universities, proven by their students’ performance in various national board exams,” CEO and Founder of Edukasyon Henry Motte-Muñoz said. (MLC)
