Easy Work Space Re-Do
Another way to make study time more efficient is an organized desk space! Here are a few pointers that help improve your study and work experience:
1. Organized files— Arrange your papers in a file holder for easy access. Those that don’t need your immediate attention should be kept at your drawer or your desk’s storage compartments. You can also place your stock of unused notebooks and pad papers there as well to avoid clutter.
2. Pens–Don’t waste time rummaging through your drawer for your highlighter. Go to your kitchen in search for an unused mug or cup to hold your pens and pencils so that they’ll be ready to use.
3. Desk implements–Keep little things like post-its, paper clips and staple wires on a shallow dish–or better yet a soap dish!
4. Lighting— A dim study area will never set the mood for a study session. Make sure you have a reliable source of light. Situate your desk near your room’s window to use natural light during the day and get a desk lamp for your late-night reading.
