Easterlies to Bring Rains in Northern, Central Luzon on Monday
(PNA) — Most parts of the country will have sunny to partly cloudy skies on Monday as the easterlies will be the dominant weather system to affect the country, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA said the easterlies or warm winds from the east are affecting the eastern section of Northern and Central Luzon.
In its Monday forecast, the regions of Cagayan Valley,cordillera, Ilocos, Central Luzon and the province of Quezon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
It added the rest of the country including Metro Manila will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also said moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the east will prevail over Luzon and coming from the northeast over Visayas. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) LAM/CLTC
