Duros Land Graces the Groundbreaking of the Minore Center and Hotel
It was a sunny day when Duros Land Property Incorporated (DLPI) graced the ground breaking ceremony of the Minore Center and Hotel at the 23 Minore Park, Juan Luna Ave, Cebu City.
The groundbreaking ceremony kicked off with a mass celebrated by Msgr. Joseph Tan, who also blessed the groundbreaking site.
23 Minore Park Project Director Lydwena Eco, in her opening speech for the event, said that the Minore Center and Hotel started only as a simple powerpoint presentation. She also thanked all of the people that supported the project and that the project would not be possible without them.
Ian Mantuhac, Project Manager of the Minore Center and Hotel, hopes that the Minore Center and Hotel will help the tourism of Cebu.
He added that the Minore Center and Hotel will be operational by mid 2019.
Fe Barino during her inspirational speech called for the unity of the business community amidst the recent murder of a businesswoman, Junko Hamada.
Hamada was killed by unknown assailants on board a motorcycle last August 24, 2018.
Recovery for drug addicts
Barino also said that there is recovery and hope for those drug addicted people and killing is not the solution. She announced that they will be launching “Be Intimate with God” a program that helps drug surrenderees be more close to God.
The 7,500 square-meter Minore Center and Hotel will host business and office spaces. It will also have a restaurant and a basement parking area. The Minore Center and Hotel will be four storey building with 42 hotel rooms.
The Minore Center and Hotel complete the 23 Minore Park, which also houses the IC3 Convention, Landers Supermarket and the Minore Chapel. (ASC)
